In the tutorial below we will guide you, step by step, through the setup of BlueStacks and RaccoonBot. We will provide the necessary download links and explain all RaccoonBot settings which you can configure to your own needs. Installing and using this bot is easier than you think, but we want to ensure that everyone can do this with little computer knowledge. However, if you still experience problems with installing and using RaccoonBot, support can be found on our forums.
Step 1 â Software needed to be installed in order to get RaccoonBot working:1) The main program that you need to have installed on your PC is the Android emulator (BlueStacks) that we are going to run Clash of Clans on. Go to BlueStacks - 90 Million Android Users and Counting
, download the right version for your operating system and install.2) After you have finished installing BlueStacks, open it and log into your Google Account.3) Go to the âGoogle Play Storeâ inside BlueStacks, search for âClash of Clansâ and install the game.*Note: If you have Clash of Clans account linked with your Google account, after launching the game for the first time click the âConnect to Google+â button near the top left of the screen to load your base. If you are Apple user, use this guide to link your Apple account to Google.Device Linking Guide - Clash of Clans Wiki
4) After you have finished installing BlueStacks and Clash Of Clans, you can finally move on to the bot software`s requirement. Since RaccoonBot is fully coded in C#, it doesnât require any additional software except for Microsoft NET Framework V4.5.1. Download V4.5.1 here:Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Web Installer) for Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 SP2 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2012 from Official Microsoft Download Center
Step 2 â Downloading and using RaccoonBot:1) Congratulations on reaching this step! From now on itâs very simple and easy to use! RaccoonBot is very user friendly and can be used by everyone without problems! First thing you have to do is download the bot by going to this link:http://www.raccoonbot.com/raccoonbot-download/
2) After downloading the bot, extract it as shown. Install 7-zip, a free file extracting software (http://www.7-zip.org/
) if you do not have something like this.http://i.gyazo.com/df697a39f4651e74f99aa4414d9cb56d.pngAfter
this, you will only have one file which is called âUpdater.exeâ Put this file in the location you want the bot to be installed in and double click Updater.exe. A âRaccoon Botâ folder will be created with the latest bot files inside!
3) Check your display settings and make sure it matches the following picturehttp://i.gyazo.com/6dd3f78ec1ca513cb07a30731953d73e.png4) Now you have everything you need ready to start botting! Start âRaccoonBot.exeâ and the bot will open.
Login with your forum account but if you donât have one, register here:http://www.raccoonbot.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=global§ion=register5
) Now when you are logged in to the bot, you can select what modules the bot should run in the General tab, for example âCollect resources, Build troops and Attackingâ., meaning that the bot will only run those selected modules!
6) Also make sure that your CoC language is in English by going to the settings icon on the right (under the achievement icon) and clicking on the flag in the menu on the left.Explanation for each module:Collect Resources: Start a collection run every few minutes and collect your mines / collectors as soon as they regain resources.Troop building: Build your selected troops using our Smart Troop building algorithm which will analyse the fastest way to build troops in difference barracks to save time and achieve maximum performance!Attacking: Will attack when troop building is finished and search based on your resource requirements e.g. (Base must have at least 100k gold and 100k elixir otherwise, skip base).Setting up the bot:1) Troop Sets:With our bot you can save your favourite troop sets and use them later. All you have to do is go to the âTroop Setsâ tab, press âAddâ, and name it e.g. âBarbarians/Archersâ or âGiants/Archersâ so you can easily recognise them later. Add your desired troops to the set (itâs exactly the same as Clash of Clans; you can just hold your mouse and it will add troops to the set). Donât add more troops than your maximum army camp space as the bot will detect that. You can rename and delete sets as well.2) Attacking:The first thing you have to do is set Attacking requirements,These requirements are the minimum resources the enemy base should have in order to attack it, e.g.100,000 Gold â 100,000 Elixir â 0 Dark Elixir. This means that if enemy bases donât have these minimum resources available, RaccoonBot will skip them until it finds the right base for you. You can also configure whether the enemy base needs to have all requirements or whether one is enough. The second thing you have to configure is Deploy mode. You need to select which sides of the enemy base you want the bot to deploy the troops from (This feature is only temporary while we work on our advanced attacking algorithm). You can select attacking from 1, 2, 3 or 4 sides. The bot will deploy troops fast, but in a humanlike way (not instant deployment). There are faster speeds than itâs currently possible but we wonât allow it at the moment for your own safety!
Third thing you have to setup is âMisc settingsâ, you can choose whether to use clan troops or not â no feature like that yet â greyed out. You can make the bot drop trophies whenever it passes the maximum trophies specified by you. For example, the bot will automatically surrender if you pass â1500â trophies until it is under â1500â trophies
